I moved from India to Dubai 13 years ago with the same optimism most expats arrive with. I've spent that time on the inside of this market — advising HNI and UHNI investors on ultra-luxury property, and building my own rental portfolio alongside them, not just talking about it from the sidelines.
What I post isn't content strategy. It's the same thing I'd tell a client sitting across from me, on camera instead of in an office — including the deals I'd tell them to walk away from. Most of what gets marketed to expats in this city is written to close a sale, not to inform a decision. I try to write the version that exists before the sales pitch starts.
I don't box myself into listings and launches either — the pattern underneath a policy change, a market cycle, or a headline usually matters more than the headline itself, and that's the lens I bring to all of it.
